Thank you for visiting my blog. I specialize in custom portraiture, modern lifestyle photography of newborns, babies, children and families. It is my goal to capture the essence of who you are at this moment in time, a glimpse of your soul and spirit.

My style is taking a step back and observing natural interaction waiting for the right moment to click the shutter. I will often direct, but prefer to take a more candid approach to photography. I take great care in presenting you with beautiful images that you and your loved ones will treasure for a lifetime.

Make today's little moments a lifetime treasure with Tara McGlinchey Photography. Maternity, Newborn, Baby, Children & Family Photographer. Call Tara McGlinchey Photography at 201-654-1619 to book a portrait session today. Tara McGlinchey Photography works on-location for your convenience.

A New Life, Manhattan Newborn Photographer

You may recognize this beautiful family from a recent family photo soot in Central Park seen HERE. They have since welcomed a new baby girl to their family. She is so sweet and calm and perfect! What a lucky girl to be born to such a loving family. Enjoy the images.

FRAMED: A Blog Carousel Post

Sunday, June 5th, 2011

I am very honored to be part of a project taken on by some of the finest children’s photographers in the world called The Blog Carousel. Once a month a theme is chosen and each participating photographer creates a blog post based on her interpretation of the theme. This month’s theme is framed.

Framing is a technique a photographer may use to enhance the composition of a photograph in order to make it more visually appealing. Framing leads the viewer to the main subject of the image while also providing depth. Frames can be found in your home, something as simple as a window. In nature frames can be found in trees, architectural structures, landscapes, etc. Frames are everywhere if you look for them. Here are a few of my favorite images using frames.

Next stop on the blog carousel is the very talented Rebecca Mudrick. Please stop by to see her interpretation of the theme.
